About the Team

Dr. Sharla Aronson

Founder Dentist

When we take time to understand the root cause, dentistry becomes a tool for long-term health—not just treatment.

Dr. Sharla Aronson is a biologic dentist, mother of two, and lifelong learner who believes health is personal—and care should be, too.

Her path into dentistry began early, shaped by a childhood facial injury that introduced her to the power of compassionate, skilled care. Years later, becoming a mother—and navigating her daughter’s early hearing loss—deepened her curiosity about the body, healing, and the connections between oral health and overall well-being. That experience subtly but permanently shifted how she practices dentistry.

Sharla earned her undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University, completed dental school at the University of Colorado, and trained in a hospital-based residency at the VA in Palo Alto. In 2019, she trained with Dr. Judson Wall, becoming one of the first dentists in the country to complete the Holistic Dental Education curriculum. She later completed SMART certification through the IAOMT and Biodentist Way training, continuing her focus on prevention, individualized care, and understanding what’s happening beneath the surface.

At the heart of her work is a respect for each person’s unique biology. Sharla values time, listening, and thoughtful collaboration, creating space for patients to feel informed, supported, and unhurried as they make decisions about their health. She also enjoys sharing about biologic dentistry through podcasts and mentoring other female dentists who are navigating practice ownership, leadership, and alignment in their work.

Outside the office, Sharla finds grounding in family life and movement—hiking, weight lifting, golf, and traveling—along with reading and quiet rituals that help restore balance. These same values—presence, intention, and curiosity—shape the way she leads her practice and cares for her patients.
