First, during a comprehensive two-hour new patient exam, we take the time to understand your needs, including your medical and dental history. This illuminates the unknown and sets the foundation for your personalized plan.

  • Our new patient exam process is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of your oral health and help us get to know you better. To get started, we take time to discuss your medical and dental history, desired outcome, and preferences. This ensures we understand you so we can tailor your care to your specific needs.

    During this exam, we'll take a full mouth series of radiographs, which gives us a detailed view of your teeth and jawbone. We'll also take a 3D cone beam image to illuminate potential problems and hidden infections. Additionally, we'll capture some photos of your teeth and smile to help us evaluate your overall esthetics. Our team will conduct a thorough periodontal exam to check the health of your gums, assess your TMJ (temporomandibular joint), evaluate your bite, and even look into your airway for any potential issues.
