Alive Dental: Expanding What’s Possible
At Alive Dental, we’re all about growth—but also about staying grounded in the values that matter. As we step into summer, we wanted to share a behind-the-scenes update on what’s changing, what’s expanding, and what’s still very much the same.
Celebrating Dr. Ahmed: 2 Years of Meticulous, Compassionate Care
This summer marks two years since Dr. Ahmed joined the practice! Patients consistently praise his meticulous attention to detail, gentle touch, and calm, dry sense of humor. His passion for restorative dentistry shows in everything from beautifully shaped fillings and Bioclear restorations to complex crown and occlusion cases.
Dr. Ahmed is also deeply engaged in continuing education, especially when it comes to emerging tools like 3D printing, which he sees as a future bridge between fillings and crowns. He’s beginning to offer in-office orthodontic aligners for simple cases and is working closely with Dr. Aronson to launch biologic root canals later this summer—integrating techniques like laser therapy and ozone to ensure biocompatibility.
Dr. Aronson: Focused on Biologic Innovation and Esthetic Excellence
Dr. Aronson remains the heart of Alive Dental & Alive Esthetics. While she continues to see patients several days a week, she now also devotes time to mentoring the team and shaping the long-term vision of the practice. Her clinical focus is on complex biologic treatment planning, surgical care (including implants and cavitation treatment), conscious sedation, and holistic esthetic services.
With her kids growing up quickly (already 7 and 10!), Dr. Aronson has designed a more flexible schedule that allows her to spend intentional time both at work and at home. If you’re coming in for shorter visits like fillings, you’ll most likely be seen by Dr. Ahmed, while Dr. Aronson focuses on extended appointments that require deeper planning or surgical precision.
Alive Dental: Same Owner, Evolving Name
When we rebranded from Aronson Family Dental to Alive Dental, some patients assumed the practice had been sold. Rest assured, Dr. Aronson remains the sole owner. The new name simply reflects the practice’s evolution—from conventional family dentistry to a biologically based, whole-body approach to oral health. You can read more about the rebrand journey in this article by Lab Creative.
New Services, Same Vision
Alive Dental continues to expand its offerings to better support our patients' total health and wellness:
Microneedling with PRF: Natural skin rejuvenation with the healing power of your own blood.
Laser Peels, Liplase, Smoothlase: Non-invasive esthetic treatments performed by Dr. Aronson to enhance natural beauty.
Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT): Offered by our new hygienist, Sarah, this cutting-edge approach to cleanings uses an air polisher and disclosing solution to target harmful bacteria while preserving healthy tissue. Patients love the comfort and the results.
Orthodontic Aligners & Biologic Root Canals: Coming soon from Dr. Ahmed, with protocols that meet our high biologic standards—including laser and ozone integration.
Our esthetic services are now a collaborative effort: microneedling is performed by Dr. Aronson or Grace (our esthetician-trained dental assistant), and PRF is handled by either Dr. Aronson or Jessica (our skilled phlebotomist assistant).
The Bottom Line: More Ways to Support Your Health
Alive Dental continues to evolve, but our core commitment to biologic, intentional, patient-centered care remains unchanged. Whether you’re coming in for a dental exam, facial esthetics, or a personalized treatment plan, you can trust that our entire team is here to help you glow from within.
We’re grateful to grow alongside you. Here’s to another season of living well—together.
